ZD Veterans Construction LLC was organized in Rhode Island on July 13, 2026. The company is that young. The trade is not.

Both founders are veterans, and the company is veteran owned and operated. We are not putting a branch insignia or a service record on a website until we can point at the paperwork that backs it.

We improve the communities we work in by doing the work right, treating customers fairly, investing in our people, and building a company worth handing down.
We want to be the excavation contractor Rhode Island builders call first. We know that is earned job by job, not claimed on a website.
Profit is necessary for growth and sustainability, but it is never our highest priority. Character, integrity, and stewardship come first.
Every road, house and building starts with somebody willing to put in work that will outlast them. That is the part of this trade worth showing up for.
What we hold ourselves to
Values are cheap to publish. These are the eight we wrote down before we had a single customer, with the practical version of each one next to it.
Four of the principles we hold each other to. They are about how people get treated on a job site, which turns out to be the thing that decides whether the work is any good.
A company this new cannot point at twenty years of jobs. What it can do is be easy to verify. Here is everything you need to look us up with the state, at no cost, in about a minute.
What have you actually done. Who else can I call. What happens if you hit ledge. Those are the right questions for a company our age, and we would rather answer them now than after you have signed something.
